Wedding in Sorrento

Apparently there was an epidemic in Italy. However, it was an epidemic of the joyful kind. About every other place we stayed somebody was getting married.

Our second day in Sorrento we noticed a big crowd, people were coming out of the church. Everybody was all dressed up and looking good. Expensive automobiles stood by waiting to whisk the principals away at the end of the festivities.

The bride, star of the show as always, was radiant and beautiful. She must have spent 15 minutes kissing everybody in the crowd.

The weather was absolutely perfect. It was a wonderful day to start a new life together.

About John Blanton

I'm a retired engineer living in San Antonio, Texas. I have served in the Navy, raced motorcycles, taken scads of photos and am usually a nice guy. I have political and religious opinions, and these opinions tend to be driven by an excess of observed stupidity. Gross stupidity is the supposed target of many of my posts.
