The Masks of Venice

For no other reason than to put up some vacation photos.

Did I mention the weather in Venice at the end of September was absolutely stunning? No better could be spent of our time in the evening but strolling the streets of Venice. In Venice the streets are a market place, and the wares are to dazzle. I have no explanation for it, but a number of stands had these colorful masks to offer. There was no thought of buying. We were loaded up before we started this trip and had no inclination to pack more for the return home. So we just looked and admired. And I shot some photos. Here are some of the some:

About John Blanton

I'm a retired engineer living in San Antonio, Texas. I have served in the Navy, raced motorcycles, taken scads of photos and am usually a nice guy. I have political and religious opinions, and these opinions tend to be driven by an excess of observed stupidity. Gross stupidity is the supposed target of many of my posts.
