Plain Rain

FLASH BULLETIN

Arrived Madrid. Rumor confirmed. Details to follow:

Readers, the truth is now confirmed. The rain in Spain really does stay mainly in the plain.

We got to the Madrid airport about 9 a.m. on New Years Day. It took until past one to get to our hotel (stopped for lunch). We promptly crashed. An eight-hour trans-Atlantic flight gives not time for sleep.

Up in time for dinner and headed out for some spectacular Spanish cuisine. Found a Burger King that serves salads. Weather was just fine. Until we got ready to go back to our hotel. Yes, the rain does stay mainly in the plane.

About John Blanton

I'm a retired engineer living in San Antonio, Texas. I have served in the Navy, raced motorcycles, taken scads of photos and am usually a nice guy. I have political and religious opinions, and these opinions tend to be driven by an excess of observed stupidity. Gross stupidity is the supposed target of many of my posts.
