Alicante Tarantino

It’s not as spectacular nor as famous as Rio’s Copacabaña, but the Alicanti waterfront has an attraction of its own. It’s a place where lovers connect.

It’s a place where tourists gawk.

And it’s  place of varied dining. One is Tarantino, inspired by the American writer, director, actor. The walls are adorned with plaques commemorating Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and others.

Our second night in Alicante we wandered down to the harbor to enjoy the sights. Come evening we scanned menus along the spectacular walk. We gave Tarantino a try. Spectacular! For 11.55 € we had Russian salad followed by onion soup, and salmon steak, finished off with some sort of chocolate cake/mousse. A bottle of vino tinto (Cabernet Sauvignon) was 8 € extra. We left feeling just fine.

We liked it so much, we paid another visit tonight. Only, this time I got the sea bass instead of the salmon.

This blog is proud to recommend Tarantino of Alicante. Give it a try the next time you’re in town.

About John Blanton

I'm a retired engineer living in San Antonio, Texas. I have served in the Navy, raced motorcycles, taken scads of photos and am usually a nice guy. I have political and religious opinions, and these opinions tend to be driven by an excess of observed stupidity. Gross stupidity is the supposed target of many of my posts.
